Chad J. Harwood, Sales Representative

As one of sixteen Regional Sales Representatives at ICON Advisers,I implemented an annual business plan and became the number one sales representative in 2008. During my time with ICON Advisers, I've achieved annual sales goals totaling over $100 million.

For the last four years I've worked for ICON Advisers, Inc. an investment management company in the Denver area with approximately $6 billion dollars under management. Our investment approach focuses on research at the industry level. This provided me detailed knowledge of the natural gas industry, from exploration and extraction to distribution and marketing.

As you probably know, these past few months have been a very difficult time for the investment industry. ICON Advisers went through a restructuring and my territory was absorbed into another neighboring region. More than three fourths of the company was laid off.

My goal is to transfer my skills to the natural gas industry and because my background is not directly related to the industry, I would appreciate consideration for job openings that would provide me an opportunity to learn the business.
I possess a number of qualities that would be helpful in making this transition including:

 · A strong understanding of the natural gas industry

· Experience in developing and implementing successful business plans

· Completion of the "Sequoia System" - a territory management training program

· Group presentation skills from attending a training session by Communispond, Inc.

· B.A. from Texas Tech University - Lubbock, TX

· M.B.A. from Regis University - Denver, CO
